COMMISSIONING A…
BESPOKE ARTWORK
Over the years I have had the privilege of creating many one-of-a-kind artworks for both private and commercial clients. Whether this is for a business to showcase their history through items from their archive or a feature artwork for a client's newly renovated entrance hall.
It's my passion to work with clients to bring their vision to life, creating assemblage art which are a striking talking point for residences and corporate environments alike.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS
THE FIRST STEPS
The process of commissioning a bespoke artwork is really quite simple. Once I've received you completed enquiry form which gives me an initial outline of what you'd like to commission, the style and where you plan to hang it, plus your deadline and budget. I will get in touch to arrange a chat, this could be online, over the phone or in person (if you're London based).
During this 30 minute call we will discuss the project in more detail, ironing out any issues or questions either of us might have. Plus, planning out the format of the Memory Box, including its size, where it will be hung and the amount of items available for inclusion.
Following this meeting I will send you a project proposal, which will outline your brief fully, the timeline and quotation for the work. Once the price, timeframe, and contract has been agreed, a 25% deposit is required to secure my time.
THE PROJECT BEGINS
Once the commission is secured I will begin researching and collection the array of vintage and antique items for you artwork. I will curate these items into a few composition layouts for you to see, getting the perfect balance of materials, colours and textures. These will be photographed and shared with your (and your client's) consideration. You will share you feedback with me and tweaks will be made until a final composition has been agreed.
THE FINAL STAGES
Once composition is signed off I request the next payment of 50% is sent to me before the framing can be booked and I begin securing the items in place. Depending on the size of your commission its best to allow 4 to 6 weeks for this stage. Once complete I will inform you that your piece is off to the framers and the remaining 25% balance needs to be paid.
Once complete your artwork will be securely packaged and I will deliver it to you in person ready for installation.

WHAT SOME HAPPY CLIENTS HAVE SAID ABOUT THEIR COMMISSIONS
"I fell in love with Pippa's beautiful artwork as soon as I saw it. It's a wonderful time capsule of days gone by, full of memories for me, like rifling through my grandmother's button box. The piece is so well crafted and beautifully presented. It hangs pride of place in my house, and I absolutely love it."
Zoe, Hampton Court, London
I love the different collections and the detail and find them fascinating and a joy to look at. I would recommend them to anyone with a fascination for historical objects, design and everyday life. Everyone who has seen mine think they are brilliant!
Katharine, West Sussex
“Pippa created a keepsake picture frame using tools and parts that our audio engineers use. The picture is beautiful and really helps to reflect the craft and skill that goes into restoring vintage audio equipment. It now has pride of place in our shop and it's proved to be a great way of engaging our customers and sparking a conversation.”
Shamil Joomun, Armstrong Audio, London
