Workshop Overview
Host a private Memory Box and Assemblage Art workshop for your friends, family, or craft group in a venue of your choice. Whether it’s a milestone birthday, a first birthday Memory Box party for your NCT friends, a special celebration, or a family gathering to remember a loved one, this workshop can be fully tailored to your group. With a minimum of 8 participants, you’ll enjoy a full-day hands-on session transforming treasured keepsakes into stunning bespoke Memory Box artworks using professional assemblage art techniques. You can choose to bring your own keepsakes or select from a curated collection I provide (additional cost). All materials, guidance, and tuition are included, ensuring an immersive and inspiring creative experience.

What’s Included
- All materials needed to create your bespoke Memory Box
- Handmade 28 × 28 cm canvas backboard
- Expert guidance and tuition from a professional artist
- A Curious Collection notebook and pencil for note-taking
- Refreshments throughout the day: tea, coffee, water, cakes and biscuits (dietary requirements catered for). Please note that access to hot water facilities and cups is required at the venue.
What’s Not Included
- Venue: Must be supplied by the host (residential, church hall, commercial space, etc.)
- Tables and chairs: To be provided by the host
- Optional curated vintage keepsake collection (if applicable)
Location & Setting
Your private workshop can take place wherever suits your group – from your home or a community hall to a hotel or private studio. I’ll adapt to any space and ensure a safe, organised, and inspiring creative environment for everyone.

Pricing and Booking
Private workshops are priced per participant, with a minimum of 8 people. As workshops take place at a venue of your choosing, travel and any accommodation costs for the artist are calculated based on location and included in your personalised quote.
If you would like me to bring a curated collection of vintage keepsakes for your group to use in their artworks, this can be added for an additional cost.

Private Memory Box Workshop
TERMS & CONDIDTIONS
Capacity
Private workshops require a minimum of six-eight participants, depending on location. If this minimum is not met, the organiser will be informed and the workshop may need to be rescheduled or adapted to ensure a high-quality experience for all attendees. The artist reserves the right to cancel or postpone the workshop if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
Venue and Safety
Workshops are held at a venue of your choosing, which may be residential, commercial, or other suitable spaces such as a church hall. The organiser is responsible for ensuring the space is safe, accessible, and suitable for a creative workshop, including adequate tables, chairs, lighting, and workspace. Please note that the artist cannot conduct a full risk assessment in advance for venues not personally visited. The artist reserves the right to refuse to run the workshop at any location deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
Materials and Workshop Content
All materials, tools, and guidance required for creating a bespoke Memory Box artwork are provided. Participants may bring their own keepsakes, or, for an additional cost, the artist can supply a curated collection of vintage items for use during the workshop. The workshop can be fully tailored to the group’s needs, whether for a milestone birthday, NCT first birthday Memory Box party, or other special occasions.
Price and Additional Costs
The standard fee for a private workshop is £130 per participant, based on a minimum of eight participants. Travel and accommodation for the artist are additional and will be quoted according to the location of the workshop. Any additional costs, such as bringing a collection of vintage keepsakes, will be outlined prior to confirmation of the booking to avoid surprises.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings require at least seven days’ notice for a full refund or rescheduling. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop are non-refundable. Transfers to an alternative date are at the artist’s discretion and may only be made once. Please note that the artist is not responsible for any non-refundable travel or accommodation costs incurred by the organiser or participants due to cancellation by the artist or unforeseen circumstances.
Intellectual Property
All workshop content, including teaching methods, creative processes, techniques, and materials, remains the intellectual property of the artist and may not be reproduced, taught, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission. Participants retain full ownership of any artwork they create during the session.
Photography and Use of Images
Photographs may be taken during the workshop for documentation or promotional purposes. If participants prefer not to appear in images, this should be communicated to the artist at the start of the workshop. Permission may also be requested following the workshop.
Responsibility for Personal Items
Participants are responsible for any keepsakes or personal items they bring to the workshop. While care will be taken, the artist cannot accept liability for loss or damage to items during the session.
Health and Safety
All workshops are conducted with reasonable safety precautions in place. Participants agree to follow guidance from the artist and take reasonable care when handling tools and materials. Any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or access requirements should be communicated to the artist prior to the workshop.
Force Majeure
In the event that the workshop cannot take place due to circumstances beyond the artist’s control, such as illness, extreme weather, or transport disruption, the organiser will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
What Happens Next
Once your private workshop is confirmed:
- The artist will provide a personalised proposal and quote including travel, accommodation, and any additional materials requested.
- A short pre-workshop discussion will take place to discuss your group’s requirements, venue layout, and any special considerations.
- The artist may request a list of participants and any relevant dietary requirements for refreshments provided during the session.
